Customers Overview

Unlock the power of efficient customer data management with SAM’s customer module. Seamlessly store and manage customer data, gaining a comprehensive overview of each customer’s account. All customer-related activities, including contacts, invoices, purchases, history, sales, jobs, and deliveries, are meticulously logged and captured. Additionally, with SAM’s customer module, you can effortlessly access and maintain detailed customer records, enabling seamless customer relationship management.
Moreover, our system ensures seamless integration with Sage 50 accounts. When new customers are added to the SAM Service Manager system, their details are automatically synchronized, eliminating the risk of duplicate records and ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
Customer Records
Every customer record contains detailed information specific to each customer, including their address, telephone number, email address, branch address, contact name for each branch, credit limit, tax codes, and more. Furthermore, our system ensures that all pertinent details are accurately captured and readily accessible for efficient customer management.
Credit Control
When setting up a customer, it’s essential to assign an account number. In case the system is integrated with Sage, entering the account number will trigger automatic synchronization of customer details with Sage. Additionally, the customer status will be updated to ‘new’ to reflect the status in Sage.
Currency & Tax
During setup, it’s important to designate the default tax code for the customer, typically ‘t1’ for British companies. The VAT rate, currently set at 20%, is defined in the administration module.
Additionally, ensure the base currency is accurately set. For businesses trading internationally, it’s crucial to define the correct base currency to facilitate smooth transactions with customers abroad.
Discounts
Configure customer-specific discounts effortlessly using the discount dropdown menu, which offers three options: (1) None, (2) By percentage, and (3) By amount. Tailor discounts to meet the unique needs of each customer, enhancing flexibility and satisfaction.
Customer Site Addresses
If your customer operates from multiple offices, with several contacts for each office, you can conveniently enter the address for each individual office. This feature ensures accurate record-keeping and facilitates seamless communication across all branches.
Customer Contacts
Contacts for selected customers are conveniently listed under the ‘Contacts’ tab. Additionally, new contacts can be easily added by clicking the ‘New’ button located at the bottom of the popup window. This streamlined process ensures efficient management of customer contacts.
