This module is used to maintain the job and task schedule of service personnel. This is a task management tool which helps to manage the time utilisation of service Engineers, Technicians and personnel for assigned jobs.

Scheduling

The scheduling Diary shows all bookings and jobs scheduled for your site technicians. Whatever appointments you book for your service personnel will appear here, they are all easily filtered by day, week or month. Further, you can view each service personnel’s diary separately.

If you search for a customer account, this can be by name, part of the address or even the telephone number. Results are easy to find and filter, making locating your customer details a simple task.

To change a booking, simply drag and drop the appointment to a new date and the job is done.

The diary shows bookings and appointments for service personnel or general appointment bookings. Scheduled by day, week or month with drag and drop capability to easily re-book appointments.

Book a Site Visit

Booking On-Site Visits with the Diary Tool

Scheduling on-site visits is quick and efficient with the diary tool. Follow these steps:

1. Access the Diaries: Select “Diaries” from the main menu. Click on the “Consultant’s” tab located to the right of the diary window. A slide-in window will appear.
2. Select Project and Job: Choose a project from the dropdown menu in the slide-in window. All associated jobs for the selected project will display. Select a job from this list.
3. Choose the Team and Engineer: Click on the “Teams” dropdown to see all associated teams. Select the required team to view a list of engineers assigned to that team. Hold down the mouse on the engineer’s name and drag their block to the desired position within the diary to book the appointment.
4. Adjust Appointment Duration: The diary view can be set to intervals of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour. To extend the appointment time, hover your mouse over the edge of the engineer’s block until the pointer changes to an arrow. Then, drag the block until the required appointment time is displayed.

The slide-in window will automatically move aside, giving you full access to the diary.
