Moreover, the color-coded job overview screen uses a traffic light system to show the current job status, making high-priority jobs easily identifiable by the administration staff.

Identify jobs waiting for attention, those in progress, and those completed. Most importantly, the administration staff can quickly ascertain which engineer a job is assigned to.

Job Details

Details for each job are recorded when the job is created, encompassing customer details, job type (installation, maintenance, repair, etc.), and the assigned engineer who will be performing the work.

Moreover, customizable drop-down menus enable different industry sectors to categorize the jobs to align with their specific requirements.

Job Costing

Save time with SAM Job costing. Similar to a sales order, you can create quotations for potential or existing customers. If they want to proceed with the order, quickly convert the quotation into a job. Additionally, the pricing tab allows for the quick creation of an invoice when the job is completed. Long-term jobs can also be invoiced on an ongoing basis. This tab keeps a record of all parts used on a job, including the engineering times.

Furthermore, you can capture the hours and costs for a job and estimate the costs for it. You can also compare costs against set budgets stored as part of the job details.

With Sam’s Job Management financial activities like invoicing, and generating sales & purchase orders are synchronised with your accounts software. 

This saves time as there’s no need to repeatedly input the same information. Job information is entered directly into the jobs interface by the administration team from the office.

Information is also entered by Mobile workers using the SAM Mobile App. Customers can enter their digital signatures using the app or the customer portal.
