Once you have completed entering the necessary details for a part, you can enhance the record by adding a representative image. This helps users easily identify the product within the system.

Add Image to a Part Record

1. Navigate to the Image Tab:

   • After filling in the product details, click on the “Image” tab to access the image upload options.

2. Import the Image:

   • Click on the “Import” button.
   • A pop-up window will appear; select “Import Image File.”
   • Browse your computer to locate the appropriate product image.
   • Click “Open” to upload the image thumbnail to the part record.

Supported Image Formats

SAM supports the following image file formats for product images:

• BMP (Bitmap Image Files)
• JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)
• GIF (Graphics Interchange Format)

By uploading product images, users can quickly and accurately identify parts, improving inventory management and facilitating smoother operations.
