Delivery Information

Invoicing Delivery Address

The Delivery Address section in the Invoicing module records the location where goods or services associated with the invoice were delivered. This address may be the same as the billing address, or it may differ if the customer operates multiple sites or requires delivery to a specific location.

The delivery address ensures that all dispatched goods are correctly associated with the destination site and provides an accurate record of where the products or services were supplied. Maintaining accurate delivery details is important for logistics, order tracking, and customer service purposes.

Delivery information is usually retrieved from the Customer Site record, but it can be reviewed and adjusted when creating or editing an invoice if required.

The delivery address should include the following details:

  • Company Name – The name of the customer’s organisation receiving the goods or services.
  • Site Name – The specific customer site or branch where delivery is required.
  • Contact Name – The person responsible for receiving the delivery.
  • Address Line 1 & 2 – Street or building details for the delivery location.
  • City / Town – The town or city where the goods are delivered.
  • County / Region – The administrative or regional area of the delivery location.
  • Postcode – Ensures accurate delivery and location identification.
  • Country – Specifies the delivery country for domestic or international shipments.
  • Telephone Number – A contact number for delivery coordination or courier enquiries.

Accurate delivery address information helps ensure that goods are dispatched to the correct location, supports efficient order fulfilment, and provides a clear record of where items were delivered for future reference.
